Cup & Napkin Machine Operator(s)

Hourly Rate: £11.70

 

THE ROLE

We are currently looking for Cup & Napkin Operators to join our team to support our growing business. You will be operating a number of fast moving Cup and Napkin machines in your role and will be focused on the day to day running of a number of fast moving machines including undertaking tasks such as basic machine adjustments, lubrication of machinery and ensuring both housekeeping and quality standards are high whilst achieving production targets.

 

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor this role will involve working a three week (Monday to Friday) rotating pattern of:

  • Days (6am-2pm)
  • Nights (10pm-6am)
  • Afternoons (2pm-10pm)

 

The hourly rate for this role is £11.70 inclusive of shift premium.

 

We are looking for people with/who can demonstrate:

  • Previous Operator experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Previous experience of using integrated business systems, e.g. SAP, IFS (desirable)
  • Good literacy & numeracy skills
  • Methodical with ability to pay attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Manual handling knowledge/training and experience
  • PC literate – e.g.: basic data inputting
