F. Bender Limited ("Benders") is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and suppliers of high quality disposable tableware. We were established in London in 1899 and now run our Company from a purpose built factory and distribution centre in Wrexham, Wales.
Benders distributes products to both domestic and export customers. We sell via a number of channels ranging from wholesale right through to international brand owners.
Whether working with a large global company or a small coffee shop, we our passionate about creating the ideal opportunities for our customers. We strive to establish good working relationships therefore making the entire business process straightforward and hassle free from start to finish.
Whilst our product range is legendary, encompassing everything from cups to cutlery and plates to placemats, Benders is best known in the market as the leader in design and innovation. We are experts in short lead time printing and have many years of experience in this field enabling Benders to surpass other companies who now promote this service.
Giving our customers access to the people who do the job is key; we actively encourage factory visits to provide a better understanding from the machine operator perspective, of what is possible to ensure that our delivery and service is never compromised.
We have over 500 products in our range and the capability to support both branded and generic versions. As a major UK manufacturer we continue to invest in the production of added-value products and source approved products from across the World.
Management Buy Out
In February 2007 Benders was re-financed through a management buyout with support from Barclays Ventures.
Investing in a 100 year old business creates many challenges, not least, how to take the best bits of the old and combine them with new. We believe we have created the right balance and most importantly have achieved this in a hugely competitive environment where our investors are confident to support the continued development of the business.
As an evolving company we are extremely proud of our heritage, but most importantly we are excited about the future.

Benders Tomorrow
Benders continues to progress at every opportunity we create for our customers. Within our approach we are also mindful that products, processes and procedures relevant today may not necessarily be tomorrow.
As a business we have a great advantage over our competitors as we are free of the corporate ties that create inflexibility and fear of change. Benders employees are actively encouraged to make decisions in line with our guiding values of service, innovation and design.
As with all businesses we have a number of challenges ahead; we are the largest supplier of PLA Hot Cups in the UK, but what about our other green credentials? .. We have industry leading IT systems, but what else do we need to do to make us easy to trade with? .. How can we configure our factory to meet shorter lead times and how do we compete with sub standard and low price imports?
To offer the highest level of service we continually question the approaches and stategies we employ in order to help our customers grow their business to maximum potential.
