Benders Paper Cups, a leading UK manufacturer of paper cup products, has supplied Nestlé with their first range of custom printed cups for NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style floor standing self-serve coffee solution.
Benders have supplied Nestlé with their distinctive Embossed double wall cup in both 8/9oz and 12oz sizes, in addition to a 12oz vending cup. The cups are all branded with the new NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style logo.
The cups are designed for use with Nestlé’s new NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style floor-standing, self-serve coffee solution, allowing operators to offer consumers the quality of drinks they have come to expect from coffee shops, but from the convenience of a vending machine.
To reinforce this key selling point and branding message, Nestlé required a range of quality paper cups to complement the specialty coffee shop experience of drinking NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style coffee on the go.
It was crucial for Nestlé to have a smooth emboss design so that there is no compromise to the imagery of the NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style branding as well as consistency across the other formats of promotional support material being used.
The structure of Benders’ Embossed double wall cup with its unique ‘Swirl’ ensures that the NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style cups are comfortable and easy to hold, support stunning print design, and provide good insulation and comfortable handhold for customers.
The full height of the embossed outer wall was custom printed, maximising opportunities for reinforcing NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style brand recognition. The unique spacing of the swirl emboss creates air pockets between the two walls of the cup; allowing gradual warming of the fingers to facilitate drinking on the move, which was an essential feature for Nestlé’s new NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style serving solution.
Nestlé have also entered a licencing agreement with Benders, that enables Benders to supply NESCAFÉ® GOLD BLEND® Barista Style customers with paper cups on a direct basis, further reinforcing the relationship between both brands.
