Working with West Cheshire College, we have developed an engineering apprenticeship programme for those wishing to pursue a career in the paper industry. Our aim is to develop further apprenticeships in multi discipline areas. Our apprenticeships are nationally recognised qualifications that offer candidates the opportunity to combine theoretical learning and practical on-the-job training.
We are currently looking for a Multi skilled CI Engineer to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Plant CI Lead Engineer, this position will involve working Days, 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. The role itself will involve assisting and supporting the Plant CI Lead Engineer in CI activities to improve operational productivity. Key responsibilities of this role include implementing CI initiatives to improve plant safety and productivity, root cause analysis of machine problems and productivity issues & assisting with installation of new machinery.
The successful candidate should have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship qualification (ideally electrically biased) as well as a sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge of/experience within a manufacturing environment.
