Working with West Cheshire College, we have developed an engineering apprenticeship programme for those wishing to pursue a career in the paper industry. We are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled CI Engineer to join our team based at our site in Gresford. Working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm, the role will involve assisting & supporting the Plant CI Lead Engineer in CI activities to improve operational productivity.
The key purpose of this role is to assist and support the Plant CI Lead Engineer in CI activities to improve operational productivity. Key responsibilities of this role include implementing CI initiatives to improve plant safety and productivity, root cause analysis of machine problems and productivity issues & assisting with the installation of new machinery.
The successful candidate should have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship qualification (electrically biased) as well as a sound mechanical aptitude, experience or working within a CI role and knowledge of/experience within a manufacturing environment.

We are currently looking for eight machine operators to join our team based at our site on the Gresford Industrial Park. Reporting to a Shift Supervisor this role with involve working a 4 on / 4 off rotating days/nights 12 hour shift pattern. The hourly rate for this role is £11.47 inclusive of a 33% shift premium.
The key purpose of this role is to produce product efficiently in line with Company standards to meet customer and business expectations. Key responsibilities of this role include operating cup machines safely and efficiently in line with company standards, undertaking basic machine adjustments and adhere to the planning programme to achieve production targets set per shift.
The successful candidate should have good literacy/numeracy skills, be methodical with a good eye for detail, be action orientated and have the ability to prioritise their workload. Experience within a similar role, ideally in an FMCG environment is also essential.
